Nolan Natasha

Nolan Natasha is a queer and trans writer, performer, and filmmaker. Of Faroese and English ancestry, Nolan is a settler living on unceded Mi’Kmaw territory in Kjipuktuk/Halifax, Canada. He has been a finalist for the CBC Poetry Prize, the Ralph Gustafson Poetry prize, the Geist postcard contest, and was the runner-up for the Thomas Morton fiction prize. Nolan’s debut poetry collection, I Can Hear You, Can You Hear Me? was released in the fall of 2019 with Invisible publishing. Nolan is currently working on a collection of short stories and a series of video poems.

Nolan Natasha est un écrivain, performeur et cinéaste queer et trans. D’ascendance féroïenne et britannique, Nolan Natasha s’est établi sur le territoire non cédé des Mi’Kmaw à Kjipuktuk/Halifax, au Canada. Il a été finaliste pour l’obtention du prix de poésie de la CBC, du prix de poésie Ralph Gustafson et sélectionné dans le cadre du concours de cartes postales Geist. Il a aussi été finaliste pour le prix Thomas Morton récompensant les œuvres de fiction. Le premier recueil de poésie de Nolan Natasha intitulé I Can Hear You, Can You Hear Me ? a été publié à l’automne 2019 aux éditions Invisible. À l’heure actuelle, Nolan Natasha travaille à un recueil de nouvelles et à une série de poèmes vidéo.
