Kayla Geitzler

Kayla Geitzler is from Moncton, NB, within Siknikt of the Mi’kma’ki, where she works as an editor & writing consultant and proudly represents her city as its first Anglophone Poet Laureate. Named “A Rad Woman of Canadian Poetry”, Kayla also hosts the Attic Owl Reading Series. Her first book That Light Feeling Under Your Feet was a finalist for two poetry awards. Co-editor of Cadence: Female Voices and columnist for The Miramichi Reader, she recently edited Virago: Warrior Women, inspirational life stories by influential Trinidadian women. Kayla holds an MA in English Creative Writing. Her writing has been published internationally.
